Column Strengthening During Construction (GFA Uplift)
Engineered and implemented innovative in-situ column strengthening techniques, enabling additional levels to be added mid-construction - unlocking significant gross floor area (GFA) uplift and value for the client.
Located alongside Newlands Park, the design draws inspiration from New York’s timeless architecture, with vertical forms, raw materials, and sculpted balconies that blend into the surrounding greenery.
The structure was designed to accommodate Hyecorp’s “Live Your Way” offering, which allows residents to personalise their interiors during construction—from kitchen setups to lighting and flooring options—without compromising the building’s structural integrity.
The development includes a wide range of amenities, such as an indoor lap pool and spa, private cinema, music room, rooftop terrace with BBQ facilities, and a dedicated personal training studio. It also features a café and daycare centre that serve both residents and the broader community.
The building has a 5-star energy rating and includes EV charging. The design was developed with input from the local community and council to suit the area and improve the streetscape.
